Here you can explore the ready to wear collections, find out about bespoke design and Tamsin Francesca's life and work.
The best place to start is with the film; just click the Watch button, come inside my workshop and discover how I create the Torchon pieces. I have a varied history in the arts, from drawing, to sculpture, theatre and film costume, textiles and metal smithing. This rich tapestry of learning informs all of my work, from the tiny sculpture in the Cobnut Collection, to the lace and crochet in the Torchon and Baya Collections.I relish learning, always open to new techniques and ideas and push my materials and methods through experimentation and playing with ideas.
I am always very excited to make bespoke pieces, with deep meaning for the wearer, bringing to life your dreams in gold and silver.
My other main passion in life is conservation and ecology. If I'm not in the workshop you'll find me in the garden or the woods, cultivating or creating habitats for myriad bugs and beasts. The woods are my peace and inspiration and I actively work to protect our wild places. This obsession influences all of my work, especially evident in the Flora Series and Cobnut Collection.
I always use recycled gold and silver whenever possible and support UK wildlife charities with my work. All of my packaging and print materials are recycled and recyclable wherever possible.
Explore the site and enjoy. If you can't find what you're after or you have an idea you'd like to bring to life, I'd love to hear from you. If you can imagine it, it can be made. Make it unique!
